Lily grew up in the wilds of snowy nowhere, spending much of her time talking to animals and making up stories. She has continued to do this in her adult life, and now writes fiction and non-fiction books for children. Her titles include Dinosaurium, Beneath the Waves and Five Little Chicks. Chris Wormell is a self-taught engraver and celebrated printmaker. He creates histimeless illustrations using wood engraving and linocut, as well as digital engravingworking with tablet and computer. Chris has written and illustrated many children'sbooks and most recently gained recognition for the cover illustration of theaward-winning bestselling H is for Hawk, by Helen Macdonald, as well as forPhilip Pullman's La Belle Sauvage: The Book of Dust Volume One.
